MATES in Construction is a registered charity and relies on donations and funding provided by supporting organisations within the construction industry to pay for the suicide prevention programs that they provide. Hallett Concrete decided to get involved with MATES in Construction by actively supporting and raising funds and awareness through a program where businesses purchased a Hallett Concrete diamond. We then badged up a brand-new Hallett Concrete agitator truck with the MATES in Construction logos and supporting company logo as the agitator diamonds. Hallett Concrete would like to thank Groundwork Plus, who provide professional geoscience, environmental science, planning and development consultancy services to the mining, quarrying, construction, land use development, power generation and waste management industries, for supporting this initiative and supporting MIC. The support of local South Australian business’s like Groundwork Plus means MIC can continue to work with the construction industry to save lives.
